We were honored to build a custom Microcinema for Macy’s 2019 World Pride Celebration inside their beloved 34th Street headquarters. For one night only, we invited guests of the massive party to step inside their favorite iconic queer movies for three quick—but fabulous—minutes.

Our double feature allowed over 500 guests to celebrate Pride through the art of cinema. We brought two films to life with giant projections, props, glitter, and some of NYC’s most talented performers.

Drag lovers lip synced and shimmied in the Australian Outback during a number from The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert featuring dancers Catrina Lovelace, Blvck Lae D, and Thedy Bedbug. Then dancing queens strutted their stuff during a scene from Paris is Burning with ultra-impressive voguers Chauncey Dominique, Pretty Lanvin, Tommy Playboy, Prince Zay Carson, and Divo Couture.
