Rumble in the Bronx Brewery

This event is cancelled, due to the heavy damage sustained by hurricane Sandy. Our hearts go out to our friends at the Bruckner Bar and Grill, and we wish them a speedy rebuilding process. We will let you know when are in a position to reschedule this event. We know that Rumble in the Bronx might present a slightly crazed picture of what the boro was like in the 90s. We’re in the Bronx all the time and we have *yet* to see a single hovercraft run over a Lamborghini while being pursued by a single man armed only with his fists. But, Hong Kong action cinema has its own rules, and it’s up to us to follow them. For example, we’re going to screen this movie in the Bronx, with a little help from our friends at the Bronx Brewery, the Bruckner Grill, and fun dot org. We’re calling it Rumble in the Bronx Brewery…

This one is going to be a bit of an adventure – we’re headed up to Brueckner Boulevard to the home of the Bronx Brewery in Mott Haven. We’re going to make it worth your while with a full meal, endless Bronx Pale Ale with admission, Jackie Chan’s first big hit in America, some giveaways from the Bronx Brewery, and maybe a few other surprises. Tickets from this one are going to dissapear faster than a bike gang running away from Jackie Chan!

Where is this going to be? Well none other than ONE, 1 Bruckner Boulevard Bronx, NY 10454. We start at 7.30p, movie at 8.30p. This is an intimate night, folks. Only 40 can attend, so snag a seat….
